Living History Association (LHA) Board
The Living History Association (LHA) is a volunteer, non-profit organization founded to support Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site. Board members meet monthly, in partnership with Ranch staff, to decide how to support the infrastructure and programming offered by Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site. The Board also supports the events held at Rock Ledge Ranch throughout the year, and operations of the General Store.
We are getting started on an exciting new year! The Rock Ledge Ranch Living History Board is in search of new board members. We welcome enthusiastic team members and while prior board experience is helpful, it is not required.
This is your chance to help promote heritage ranching and the exciting programs the Ranch provides!
We have the following volunteer board positions to fill starting in June 2025:
Membership Chair
o Directs the membership process using the Membership Works contact database (965 active members, 550 recently expired members)
o Works with RLR staff to generate ideas for special membership activities
o Reports at LHA board meetings current membership updates
o Recruiting volunteers to help setting up the membership table and associated banners at special events (on the ranch and offsite)
Membership Assistant
o Mails out renewal membership cards and free passes throughout the year
o Editing the wording of auto-generated renewal messages in Membership Works
o Auditing database email or physical address errors and making corrections
