Hours of Operation
As part of the City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services Department, the Ranch grounds are open daily from dawn to dusk. The buildings however, are only open during the Summer Living History Program and special events. There is a fee for the Living History Program and special events. See the Admission page for specific rates. When the Living History Program is not available, please pick a map from either of the Ranch’s restroom facilities for a free, self-guided tour.
The Summer Living History Program runs from the beginning of June through the middle of August; Wednesday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sunday 1 – 5 p.m. We also host many special events throughout the year. See the Events page for more information.
The main gate entrance (off of Gateway Rd.) is only open during programming and special events. Alternative access is available at Pike Drive/Chambers Way, on the South end of the Ranch. There is no admission fee if we are NOT doing living history or a special event.
