Rock Ledge Ranch is excited to introduce “Ranch ‘n’ Roots”, a new nature exploration program happening every Friday throughout the Fall, Winter and Spring. This family-focused program will celebrate the natural wonder of the Front Range by featuring a topic relating to the ecology and human history of Rock Ledge Ranch. Topics can range from clouds, snakes, horses, gardens, trees and possibly even lions (no tigers) and bears “oh my!” Each week will include a variety of books, crafts, games, activities and nature walks.

This program will require parent participation and is intended for elementary-aged children. Younger children are welcome to come just be aware that the activities will be geared for grades K-6th. If younger students intend to participate, they must be registered.

For all of our homeschooling families, this program will not require a Notice of Intent. 

The program costs $180 per student per semester, or, if families intend to pay for the whole year, $325 per student per year (about a 10% discount).

This program will run every Friday from 9am-12pm for 12 weeks each semester starting on Sept. 4th. The first semester will run from September 4th through November 20th, and the second semester would run from February 12th through May 7th.
