How did the railroad transform settler life in Colorado? Discover what it took to be a farmer or rancher in the Pikes Peak region in the 1880s. Why was a blacksmith essential to ranch operations in the 1890s? Explore all these ideas and more while chomping down on some popcorn from the General Store at Homeschool Day. Designed for homeschoolers. Everyone welcome! Admission is $4.00 per person\, children 2 and under are FREE for this self-paced tour of our historic sites. Be sure to dress for the weather.
