Sheep Shearing

June 05 | 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Homespun Fun at the Ranch!

In the 1880s, El Paso County boasted the largest population of sheep in the state at 120,000 critters. This produced about 560,000 pounds of fleece!

Visit the General Store to buy gifts made from the Ranch sheep!

There are 5 resident sheep. The shearing will occur throughout the day until about 3 p.m. (Professional shearers shear a sheep in 2-3 minutes!)
